To share your screen with me, you’ll need to grant two permissions to the app we’re going to use for screen sharing.
This is done in System Preferences, in the Security & Privacy > Privacy settings.
Usually, the app will prompt you about this, but it’s not always clear what you are being asked to do.
To allow me to work on your Mac, first open System Preferences, then click on ‘Security & Privacy’.
Apple calls it “Screen Recording” when an app is allowed to grab what’s on your screen and show it to me, but there’s not actually a recording being made. I wish Apple had called this something different.
